In terms of performance and reliability, I have never chose another marker other than the Tippmann marker brand. I have a group of friends who all play every weekend and we all use Tippmann , be it an 98 model with the upgraded 12 or 14 inch Tippmann 98 barrel, the A-5 series or the Tippmann sniper, we all are loyal Tippmann users as we have tried and tested this brand, aside from the fact that this is the brand and model which have the most accessories and upgrades available to suit your taste, we also could really say that this is certainly one trustworthy name in paintball markers.

For beginners who would want to use Tippman series, I think it is best to utilize the Tippman Triumph XT series as this was originally intended for starters. This is relatively lighter than the other Tippmans and is actually very balanced. It has good rubberized grips, same internals as the 98 series (which is easy to maintain). The barrel is solid. Not enough to be effective but enough to look very cool. It hits approximately 80% of the time at around 100 ft. I recommend an upgrade of the barrel though.
